SPLIT-SCREEN EFFECTS

Split-screen, synchronized video effect is possible when multiple cameras are used at the same time. If the deposition was recorded from two, or three camera sources, the footage can then be synchronized, combined, and edited to play back on the same screen.

The resulting split-screen presentation allows the viewers to observe all videotaped parties involved in the deposition.

Pre-visualisation of the final split-screen effect, before the multiple camera session, is very important. The effect of interaction between parties involved in a deposition should always be clear. We accomplish this by paying a particular attention to how the subjects are seated in relation to each other, and how each video camera is positioned in relation to filmed subjects. The light direction and its quality are also very important in accomplishing a successful split-screen effect.

All split-screen video presentations produced by Settlement Films will display a date and a time of day counter at the bottom of screen. We can also include information identifying each person below their corresponding window.

PRICING:

The cost of creating a fully synchronized split-screen effect will depend on amount of video editing time. Please review our Rate Sheet for general pricing information, or e-mail us to request a quote and custom production proposal.
